The opportunity

Why add laser hair reduction

Laser hair reduction is one of the most established treatments in professional aesthetics, and it is bought as a course of treatments rather than a single appointment. That makes it one of the more predictable additions to a treatment menu — a client who starts a course has a reason to come back on a schedule.

Course-based bookings

Hair reduction requires multiple sessions to work. Clients commit to a course rather than a single appointment, which builds a more predictable diary than one-off treatments.

A qualification behind you

Anyone can sell you a machine. The Ofqual-regulated route means you hold a nationally recognised qualification rather than a supplier’s own certificate — something no equipment-only seller can offer.

Broad client range

Four wavelengths cover Fitzpatrick I through VI, so you are not turning clients away on skin type — which matters more in practice than any single specification.

Specification

What the machine does

  • Four wavelengths — 755 / 808 / 940 / 1064 nm, covering Fitzpatrick I–VI
  • 1200W handle power — 10Hz firing speed for full-body sessions
  • Coherent laser bar — 100-million-shot manufacturer warranty
  • Dual TEC sapphire cooling — down to −30°C for comfortable high-energy treatments
  • Smart auto-parameters — recommended settings by body area and Fitzpatrick type
  • 12.1-inch console — auto-generated parameters with real-time monitoring
  • 20 live monitors — water flow, temperature, handle status and cooling tracked continuously
  • Precision facial tip — 12×12mm attachment for delicate areas, 12×20mm for body

Revenue

Treatments you can offer

  • Laser hair reduction, all body areas
  • Facial hair
  • All skin tones, Fitzpatrick I–VI
  • Course-based treatment plans

Suitability

Who this machine suits

  • Established clinics and salons adding the treatment clients most often ask for by name
  • Practitioners building a course-based diary rather than relying on one-off bookings
  • Businesses that want the regulated route — the Ofqual qualification is the differentiator here
  • Higher-volume clinics — 10Hz firing and full-body spot size are built for throughput
  • Training academies teaching laser to a regulated standard

Training

Training and qualification

Two clearly separate things, and it is worth understanding the difference before you choose. Accredited training gets you competent and confident on the machine. An Ofqual-regulated qualification is a nationally recognised credential — a different proposition entirely, and one no equipment-only supplier can offer.

Included as standard

Accredited Laser Hair Removal & Skin Rejuvenation

A hands-on practical training day at Best You Training covering machine operation, consultation, client suitability, treatment settings and aftercare, finishing with an accredited course completion certificate. Ongoing tutor support and peer network access continue afterwards.

Upgrade option

Ofqual-regulated route

Two parts, and the distinction matters. The Level 4 Core of Knowledge for Laser and Light Devices is the regulated theory and safety foundation — it covers how laser and light interact with skin, hazards, risk assessment and the legislation around operating a device. It is a prerequisite, not a treatment qualification on its own. Alongside it you take the Level 4 Laser & Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which is the practical, hands-on qualification that covers delivering the treatment itself. Both are Ofqual-regulated and awarded through VTCT/ITEC.

Questions

Before you buy

Do I need a qualification to operate this?
Requirements differ across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and your local authority may have its own registration rules. Tell us where your business is based and we will talk you through what applies to you and which training route makes sense.
What is the difference between the accredited and Ofqual options?
Accredited training makes you competent on the machine and gives you a course completion certificate from Best You Training. The Ofqual route is a nationally regulated qualification awarded through VTCT/ITEC — a recognised credential rather than a supplier certificate. The Level 4 Core of Knowledge covers theory and safety and is a prerequisite; the practical award covers delivering the treatment.
Will it treat all skin types?
The four wavelengths cover Fitzpatrick I through VI. Suitability is always assessed per client at consultation, which is part of what the training covers.
Is there an ex-demo option?
Usually. Ex-demo units start at £4,295 and carry the same training, Launch Package and 2-year warranty as new. Availability changes, so check current stock or ask us.
Can I finance it?
Yes. Business finance is available subject to status and approval through our finance partner. The package is identical whether you finance or buy outright.
What happens after delivery?
We deliver, set the machine up and run a hands-on orientation so you are not working it out from a manual. Your training day at Best You Training is booked separately, and tutor support continues afterwards.
