A hands-on practical training day at Best You Training covering machine operation, consultation, client suitability, treatment settings and aftercare, finishing with an accredited course completion certificate. Ongoing tutor support and peer network access continue afterwards.
Ofqual-regulated route
Two parts, and the distinction matters. The Level 4 Core of Knowledge for Laser and Light Devices is the regulated theory and safety foundation — it covers how laser and light interact with skin, hazards, risk assessment and the legislation around operating a device. It is a prerequisite, not a treatment qualification on its own. Alongside it you take the Level 4 Laser & Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which is the practical, hands-on qualification that covers delivering the treatment itself. Both are Ofqual-regulated and awarded through VTCT/ITEC.
