Man Max is a dermal filler specifically formulated for male facial aesthetics, inspired by the modern Millennial Man. Recognising that male and female skin have distinct characteristics, Man Max has been developed to address the unique challenges of treating male skin.
Why Male Skin is Different
Male skin requires a tailored approach to aesthetic treatment for several key reasons. It is approximately 25% thicker than female skin and thins gradually with age, whereas female skin thickness remains relatively stable until the mid-40s. Men also have higher collagen density, though this is often offset by less sun-conscious habits and fewer anti-ageing routines. The stratum corneum in male skin is thicker and tougher, making men more prone to deeper wrinkles. Regular shaving also places ongoing stress on the skin, acting as a form of daily exfoliation that can lead to razor burn, ingrown hairs, and a weakened skin barrier — increasing vulnerability to external aggressors.

Administration: Due to its high molecular weight, use of a 25G cannula is recommended for easy and comfortable administration.
